There are plenty reasons to visit our country: the weather, our history, the art, the beaches, our beautiful cities… Certainly, Spain is a place wich is well worth visitting. However, we have many thing more important than we believe, for example, the food.
Spanish food is often recognized as one of the top cuisines in the world. Each region of Spain boasting their own unique cuisines and flavours. The traditional récipes, keeping alive a treasure of culinary variety reflecting local conditions and preferences.
Our traditional dishes are variety and, in the majority of cases healthy. This is thanks to the Mediterranean Diet. It is abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and olive oil. It features fish and poultry—lean sources of protein—over red meat, so it is characterized by being a diet low in satured fats.
